Doha: Qatar University (QU) has announced revised minimum admission requirements for its undergraduate programs, with the new criteria set to take effect from the Fall 2027 semester.

Under the updated policy, students applying to most undergraduate colleges at QU will be required to achieve a minimum high school average of 75 percent. The minimum admission average for the College of Medicine and the College of Dental Medicine will remain unchanged at 90 percent, while applicants seeking admission to the College of Pharmacy must continue to meet the existing minimum requirement of 80 percent.
For all other colleges, the minimum admission average has been set at 75 percent.
Qatar University emphasized that meeting the minimum required average does not guarantee admission. Applicants must also fulfill all additional admission requirements, including any standardized tests or specific criteria required by their chosen colleges.
The University clarified that the revised requirements will not affect students applying before the Fall 2027 intake.
