Doha: Qatar Foundation (QF) has launched a new online platform that brings together the rich and growing arts and cultural landscape of Education City, creating a single destination where students, staff, visitors, and the wider community can explore public artworks, cultural initiatives, tours, and educational resources.

The carefully curated platform showcases QF’s diverse ecosystem of artistic and cultural experiences, featuring works by acclaimed Qatari and Arab creators alongside renowned international artists. Designed to make art and culture more accessible, the platform serves as a gateway to discovering the stories, ideas, and creative expressions embedded throughout Education City.

According to Ameera M. Al-Aji, Community Arts Lead at Qatar Foundation, the initiative reflects QF’s commitment to fostering a holistic, human-centered approach to education and community development.

“The arts play a vital role in nurturing creativity, critical thinking, empathy, and cultural awareness skills that are essential for innovation and leadership in today’s world,” said Al-Aji. “At Qatar Foundation, the arts are not viewed as an addition to everyday life, but as an integral part of the Education City experience.”

She explained that the platform consolidates QF’s cultural assets into a single entry point, enabling users to easily access artworks, cultural narratives, guided tours, and learning materials. By removing barriers to access, the initiative encourages greater engagement and exploration while allowing culture to be experienced anytime and anywhere through digital channels.

Al-Aji added that the platform embodies QF’s belief that art and culture are fundamental to education, wellbeing, and community life. By making these resources openly available, QF aims to expand their educational and cultural impact, support lifelong learning, and reach more diverse audiences locally and globally.

She also highlighted the platform’s role in preserving and celebrating Qatar’s cultural heritage through elements such as Arabic calligraphy, craftsmanship, and storytelling, while simultaneously embracing contemporary and international artistic practices. This balance between tradition and innovation reflects Qatar Foundation’s vision of honoring cultural identity while promoting meaningful global cultural dialogue.
